Finixa SFDE Finishing Film Discs are premium finishing abrasives developed for paint correction, denibbing, matting and blend preparation in automotive refinish and industrial finishing applications. Featuring high-quality aluminium oxide grain on a polyester film backing, these discs produce an extremely fine and uniform scratch pattern, enabling faster polishing and consistent surface quality. The ultra-flat film construction improves contact with the surface, resulting in a more controlled sanding process.
Premium Film Abrasive for Paint Correction and Fine Finishing
The SFDE series combines a polyester film backing with a specially developed stearate coating that helps minimize clogging and significantly extends disc life. Designed for dry sanding applications, these discs are particularly suitable for removing dust nibs, orange peel, paint runs and fine surface imperfections prior to polishing or blending operations. Available in grit sizes P800, P1000, P1500, P2000 and P2500. 50 discs per box.

Directions for use
Intended to be used on a excentric rotating sander. For best results use on a 3mm deviation sander with a 5mm interface pad. The discs can only be used for dry sanding. Product especially suited for preparation before blending in grits P800 & P1000, and for paint defect rectification in grit P1500, P2000, and P2500.
- Start the sander ON the surface and stop OFF the surface. This will significantly reduce swirl marks.
- Apply light hand pressure on the sander and allow the backing pad to move freely. Let the tool do the work.
- Run the sander flat on the surface to prevent gouging.
- Follow a set pattern when sanding. This ensures that previous scratches are removed and a uniform finish is reached. Always follow the sanding steps prescribed by your paint supplier.
