UV Putty Fine

UVP 1000

Make small repairs faster and more efficient with UV Putty

UV Putty Fine is a ready-to-use, one-component UV curing putty developed for filling even the smallest micro holes, as well as small cracks, dents and stone chips. Its fine formulation makes it particularly suitable for detailed repairs where precise application and a smooth finish are important.

The putty is ready to use straight from the tube, so no mixing or additional hardener is required. This makes application simple and controlled while helping to reduce preparation time during the repair process. The solvent- and styrene-free formulation is designed for professional automotive repair applications.

UV Putty Fine may be applied in several thin layers, up to a total thickness of 3 mm. Allow each layer to cure completely before applying the next. Fast UV curing helps shorten drying times and makes repairs more efficient. The required curing time will vary based on the UV lamp intensity, the distance from the lamp to the surface, and the thickness of the applied layer.

Fine UV Putty is particularly suitable for smart and spot repairs where stability and precision are essential. Once fully cured, the putty exhibits very low volumetric shrinkage, helping to minimise the risk of shrinkage, sinkage, mapping, and edge mapping. This helps the repaired area maintain its original shape and reduces the likelihood of visible contour changes over time. The convenient tube packaging also enables easy, accurate, and controlled application exactly where the repair is required.

Frequent Asked Questions

Finixa UV Putty Fine is designed for filling even the smallest micro holes, as well as cracks, dents and stone chips. It is particularly suitable for smart and spot repair applications.

Yes. The putty is a ready-to-use, one-component product and does not require mixing or the addition of a separate hardener.

The putty can be used on metal and plastic surfaces. When applying it to plastic, follow the recommended surface preparation and adhesion-promoter procedure.

The putty is cured using a suitable UV curing light. Curing performance depends on factors such as layer thickness, UV intensity and exposure distance.

UV light can cure layers with a thickness of up to 1 mm. The actual curing result depends on the UV curing conditions, including exposure distance and UV intensity.

Yes. Multiple thin layers can be applied directly after curing the previous layer, allowing the repair to be built up efficiently.

When correctly applied and fully cured, Finixa UV Putty Fine has very low volumetric shrinkage. This helps minimise the risk of shrinkage, sinkage and mapping or edge mapping, helping the repaired area remain dimensionally stable over time.

Mapping or edge mapping is a visible contour or outline that can appear around a repaired area after the repair has been painted. The very low volumetric shrinkage of Finixa UV Putty Fine helps minimise the risk of this occurring after curing.
