AEC 91 - Coagulation powder 500 gr

Application

AGC 10 – AEC90/91 – BTC 001 - Application - Directions for use:

1. Gather Supplies: Gather the coagulation powder, the water-based paint waste you want to solidify and the Finixa AGC 10 with new filter installed.
2. Measure Coagulation Powder: Measure the appropriate amount of coagulation powder +-500gr for 20L of contaminated liquid.
3. Add Coagulation Powder: In your mixing container filled with the contaminated water based paint add the measured coagulation powder.
4. Slowly Add Paint Waste: Connect the pneumatic air to the AGC 10 and open the tap slightly to activate the airflow/mixing in the container.
5. Monitor the Coagulation Process: Observe the mixture for signs of coagulation, such as the formation of a solid mass or clumps. The time required for coagulation can vary depending on the product and the volume of paint waste.
6. Stop Mixing: Once the coagulation process is complete and the mixture has solidified, stop mixing.
7. Filtering: Open the tab in the centre of the container, product will drain into the 2nd container. Use a spatula to move all the product thru the drain and remove the top container.
8. Dispose of the Solidified Waste: Wait until all the liquid has gone thru the filter and remove the filter from its holder. Follow your local regulations and guidelines for the disposal of solidified paint waste. This may include placing it in designated waste containers or taking it to a hazardous waste disposal facility.
9. Re-activate: Put an empty 20-25L canister under the tab of the bottom container and open it. The coagulated liquid will run into the canister. In case you coagulated the Finixa BTC 80 gun cleaner liquid add 1L of BTC 001 to re-activate it.
10. Clean Up: Clean your AGC 10 thoroughly with water.
11. Wash Hands: After handling the coagulation powder and paint waste, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
