As a Technical Product Manager, you are part of our Product Management Team and are responsible for the development, management, and optimization of our non-paint product portfolio. You combine deep technical knowledge with market insight and hands-on experience in automotive repair and industrial coating processes.
As a Technical Product Manager, you play a key role in the success of our innovative product portfolio. You act as the connecting link between technology, market, and commercial teams, ensuring that our products perfectly meet customer needs and align with industry developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimize both new and existing non-paint products in close collaboration with R&D, production, and (international) suppliers.
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and technological innovations in the paint and non-paint industry, translating these insights into concrete product opportunities.
- Serve as a technical expert and sparring partner for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
- Coordinate and monitor product tests, field evaluations, and technical validations together with our technical trainers at the Technical Centre.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:
- Developing, managing, and optimizing both new and existing non-paint products in close collaboration with R&D, production, and (international) suppliers.
- Identifying and analyzing market trends, customer needs, and technological innovations in the paint and non-paint industry, and translating these insights into concrete product opportunities.
- Acting as a technical expert and sparring partner for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
- Coordinating and following up on product tests, field evaluations, and technical validations together with our technical trainers at the Technical Centre.
- Supporting the sales team with in-depth product knowledge, compelling demonstrations, and clear technical documentation.
- Preparing and implementing product strategies, product launches, and technical specifications.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with international partners and suppliers to continue driving innovation together.
Who are we looking for?
You are a technically driven professional with a sharp eye for market developments and product innovation. You effortlessly combine technical expertise with commercial insight and thrive in an international and dynamic environment.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
- You have a technical background in automotive repair, industrial coating applications, or a similar field.
- You possess solid knowledge of the paint and non-paint market, including products, processes, and current innovations.
- Experience in product development, product management, or technical support is a clear advantage.
- Hands-on experience in spray shops, spray booths, or industrial coating environments provides you with a strong practical foundation.
- You have strong analytical skills and can translate technical information into concrete commercial opportunities.
- You communicate clearly and convincingly and can easily coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered a plus.
- You are willing to travel within Europe for trade shows, customer and supplier visits, and product testing.
